27WON Front Strut Tower Bar hits the pavement

We are excited to announce the official release of our Front Strut Tower Brace, FSTB for short, for the 10th generation Honda Civic. This is a premium performance FSTB that was designed specifically to fit all 2016 and newer Honda Civics. The 27WON bar is a direct bolt-on for all trims of Civic including EXT, Sport, Sport Hatchback, SI, and Type R. It will also work on all three body styles; hatchback, sedan, and coupe. Honda Civic Front Strut Tower Bar

An aftermarket front strut tower bar or brace’s main purpose is to help increase the rigidity of the car. It does this by adding support between the strut towers and thus helping stiffen the suspension by reducing chassis flex under load and high-speed cornering. The 27WON bar does this better than any of the others. But that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Most aftermarket braces are made up of three pieces; a middle bar and two end plates that are connected together with bolts. While the three-piece bar is easier and more cost-effective to manufacture it leaves a lot on the table. A solid one-piece design is stronger and can take more load than a 3-piece. Fitment is crucial for this application. We achieved our goal of a 100% bolt-on unit. Installation is super simple. You can feel the performance in less than 20 minutes. 

At 27WON it’s important that our parts play well with your other mods. You’ll notice this FSTB has large cut-outs over the strut tower mounting points. These allow easy access to camber adjustments and various suspension controllers without having to take your bar off and on repeatedly. The low profile of our twin-tube design also gives breathing room for most aftermarket oil catch cans and coolant reservoir tanks. Lots of versatility.

The bar is finished off with a powder-coating for durability. The textured black bar will fit any theme you have going on under the hood. Or you can choose the bar in 27WON Signature Orange color for extra style points.

Lastly, round out the FSTB with the addition of our Master Cylinder Brake Brace. This unique piece bolts straight on to our strut bar and helps improve brake pedal feel and feedback. It’s a must have modification for anyone who tracks their Civic. You can learn why you need it here.
