No Turbo No Problem: K20 NA SRI Intake Hits the Streets

NA engines can be just as fun as turbo engines and today we help make the NA K20C2 a little more fun.

This blog signifies the drop of our new short ram intake system for the naturally aspirated 2.0L engines in the 10th and 11th generation Honda Civic. Primarily, these will be your Sport and LX trims of the FE1 and FE2 models!

In our part 1 blog we gave you the scoop on the design process and today we share all the final details and give you the opportunity to own one for yourself.

This intake is simple in design and even easier to install (10 minutes if you know what you are doing).

We replaced the OEM airbox, rubber hose, and filter with 27WON genuine components that provide flare, noise, and increased performance for your Honda Civic. Everything you need for a simple and clean install is included.

Starting where the air begins its journey we replace the OEM paper filter with our full oil-free synthetic element.

This higher flowing air filter is larger, allows for more air to move through it, and is easy to clean. That’s right I said clean because this air filter is 100% washable and reusable saving you $$$.

Once the air is cleaned up it passes through our accurately sized Mass air flow (MAF) housing. This housing was made to match OEM specs so that this installation requires zero tuning and can be done without a laptop. That’s right, 100% drop-in. Not tune required and we preserve OEM fuel trims!

Channeling all that smooth air from the filter and MAF housing is going to be our 4-ply silicone. This silicone is made with zero steps to allow for nice smooth airflow all the way to the throttle body. Locking it all down is a custom and metal bracket that will make sure your filter and silicone stay where they belong in your engine bay. Of course, our rear engine mount helps with that too 🙂

The team here at 27WON is happy to bring another product to market for the late model Honda Civics with the NA K20C2. We’ll have specific intakes for both the 2016-2021 10th Gen Civic and newer 2022+ 11th Gen Civics.
