More Flare Under The Hood: 10th Generation Honda Civic Engine Bay Shroud Kit Now Available

If you know us then you know that performance is in everything we do. A constant pursuit for more horsepower, more torque, and more fun driving is the philosophy we live and breathe by. While that is our bread and butter we do appreciate a nice aesthetic mod from time to time. Let’s face it, under the hood of your CivicX is nothing to go crazy about. A lot of boring plastic and gaps, so we decided to fix that. 

You may have already invested in a beautiful 27WON intake and turbo inlet pipe. A nice 27WON FSTB graces the firewall, and the orange from our FMIC kit peeks through the bundle of wires, but those fender gaps, GROSS. Just some big holes that lead to nowhere. Well fear not, today we release our fender and radiator shroud kits.

We created a 3 piece system that is an easy bolt-on solution to get some good looks under your hood. We covered up the big canyons in your fenders and gave the same beauty treatment to the radiator panel. This is how we did it. 

First, we took a 3D scan of the entire engine bay so we could identify the space we have to work with and figure out how big we need to make the parts and how we will attach them to the fenders on your Civic. Our engineers took these scans and imported them into our CAD software and started coming up with some initial concepts and designs.

Next, we moved to our 3D printer and got some full-scale models we could print out and install on the car. We made sure everything fit as we needed it to and played around with some design ideas.

After we fell in love with the look we moved the design to 5052 aluminum. This is a great material that comes in large flat sheets that are then cut, folded, and bent to our desired shape. We dialed in the final fitment and installation with these pre-production parts.

We then finish them off with a premium powder coat finish. Our Wrinkle Black and Signature Orange make them pop under your hood. Bam! In 10 minutes, your engine bay looks 100x better than before. We send you all the hardware you need and the easy-to-follow digital interactive install instructions.

 Note: You do need a Riv Nut Tool for this install which you can get on Amazon prior to installation.
