It’s Big, It’s Loud, It’s Awesome. The Single Exit Exhaust Front Pipe Back System for 11th Gen Civic and 5th Gen Integra Is Here!

Maybe you didn’t see this one coming. We’ve been working behind the scenes to develop a new exhaust system to satisfy those early 2000s tuner cravings. You know, the exhaust styles that inspired generations of kids growing up on the Fast & Furious scene.

For you 1.5T 11th Gen Civic and 5th Gen Integra owners this will be familiar to you. Our dual exit exhaust has been a fan favorite for almost three years now and is arguably the best sounding and most premium system out there. And so, we’ve taken most of that system and redesigned the rear axle-back to bring you something with a different feel.

For 2.0L Sport and LX owners who have the K20C2 this is all new. A premium 2.5 inch full T304 stainless exhaust system with the looks and sounds that you’ve been looking for. Read on for more details…

Let’s take it to the beginning with a recap of the stock exhaust system found in the Civic (or Integra). Following the turbo on 1.5T models or simply the exhaust manifold on naturally aspirated Civics, you have the Downpipe. This houses the Catalytic Converter responsible for filtering particles. Nothing crazy to report there.

After the downpipe, we get into what we call the front pipe. This essential piece connects the downpipe to the mid pipe and rest of the exhaust system. It contains a flex section responsible for absorbing some vibration and flex. But, it’s a piece of (restrictive) metal piping. Finally you have the mid-pipes and mufflers with tips (shown above for the 2.0L). These do all of the quieting down of the exhaust. Not Cool! All joking aside, they are there for a reason and stop your Civic from sounding like a lawnmower.

When talking exhausts, we want to eliminate as much factory flow restriction as possible. The stock system has neckdowns and resonators that decrease the volume and flow.

That’s ok for a stock Civic, but we’re not about stock here. On our system we ditch the resonator found in the mid pipe for a straight section of pipe. Moving further back to the rear axleback, we replace the large factory muffler with a single dual phase resonator. This style of resonator uses an expansion chamber resonator and an absorption resonator to remove both high and low frequencies and allow the exhaust gases to pass straight through which reduces back-pressure to increase performance potential.

For piping, we up the diameter to 63.5MM or 2.5 inches all the way through with no neckdowns. That delivers a cross section area that's about 58% larger over the factory system. That can also support upwards of 500WHP

All of this piping is mandrel bent and is made from premium T304 Stainless for a durable finish that will last for the life of the car. We connect all of these pieces with thick 3 bolt flanges that won’t leak or get out of alignment over time. One and done.

Our exit strategy is clear, make a statement and boy does this tip do just that. At 4.5 inches, our single exit tip sets the look and tone rounding out this system. It perfectly fills in the bumper cutout on the passenger side for a nice clean rear end that will turn heads.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a complete system without us including every single nut and bolt you’ll need for a seamless install. And we provide color step by step instructions to help every step of the way.

And there you have it, a complete new look from 27WON.
