27WON Launches First 11th Gen Civic Part (Front Strut Tower Bar)
On behalf of the team here at 27WON Honda Performance we are pleased to share with you the release of our first aftermarket high-performance part for the new 2022 11th gen Honda Civic.
Available now is our Front Strut Tower Bar for the FE1 chassis. Both 2.0L and 1.5T engines.
But first a little background. If you are a new 11th Gen Civic owner then welcome to 27WON! We invite you to check out our about us page and read this blog so you can learn about who we are and why you want us riding shotgun on your new CivicXI build.
Now let's do a quick summary on this beautiful piece of hardware. A performance Front Strut Tower Bar or FSTB for short is a modification that helps increase the rigidity of the front suspension and chassis by connecting the two upper strut pick-up points together. On Macpherson Strut cars like your 2022 Civic, the OEM struts see a lot of stress so they want to flex a bit. By installing an aftermarket bar (or brace as it's referred) we improve feedback and keep our suspension optimized.
When shopping for an aftermarket FSTB there are primarily two things you want to consider.
1) Will it benefit the handling of my car? Does it add a performance benefit?
2) Does it look good? This is one of the first things you see when you pop open the hood. Style counts too.
Our FSTB is a one piece design with weld-on end plates. This means it's much stronger than those that have bolted on end-plates. Bolted end-plates simply flex more and leave a lot to be desired. In the looks department, we offer this bar in both stealth black and our signature orange color. Regardless of the color, our twin tube design has a slim low profile structure that fits well under the hood and plays nice with aftermarket firewall mounted upgrades.
We are very excited to be the first company to bring a FSTB to the 11th gen market and are even more excited to invite you on this journey of all the other goodies we have in store for the new platform.
Thanks for choosing to REDEFINE the Aftermarket with us.
